Providing Hope and Essentials for a Brighter Tomorrow
At Burundi Action, we seek to live the Gospel through concrete acts of love.
We serve vulnerable families in Burundi by feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and walking alongside those in need with dignity and compassion.
Our mission is not only to help, but to love in action, so that every gesture becomes a living prayer and every life touched reflects the hope of Christ.

At Burundi Action, our focus is on delivering sustainable solutions that improve the lives of vulnerable communities in Burundi. Our projects are designed to address critical needs—providing essentials, building safe homes, and creating opportunities for families to become self-sufficient. Below are the current and upcoming initiatives that drive our mission forward.
Our current work focuses on supporting five children, Derrick, Kevin, Joel, Elade, and Jesus Beni, by providing a stable home, protection, and consistent care. For years, these children experienced severe neglect and were living in conditions that placed their health and lives at serious risk. When they were taken into care, their situation was critical.
Through the commitment and compassion of Egide and his wife Annick, the children were welcomed into a loving family environment where they received proper nourishment, medical attention, and emotional care. Today, they are safe, growing stronger, attending school, and beginning to thrive. This work reflects our commitment to restoring dignity, stability, and hope where it has been most fragile.
In December, we released Amahoro – Songs of Peace & Renewal, a music album created to raise awareness and support for Burundi Action’s mission. All proceeds contribute directly to our work with vulnerable families and children in Burundi. Through music, we seek to share hope beyond borders.
The album brings together voices of hope, unity, and resilience, reflecting the strength of communities we serve. Every song carries a message of peace and renewal, inspiring positive change through the power of music.

A tree plantation and fundraising initiative aimed at supporting environmental sustainability and a greener future.
An awareness event focused on conserving Amazon wildlife and protecting endangered species and their natural habitats.
A community-driven program promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental awareness through collective action.
Our mission is to open a school for girls, providing quality education, a safe environment, and opportunities that empower them to build confident, successful futures.
We are launching initiatives that help young women develop practical skills, achieve self-reliance, and contribute positively to their families and communities.
Our next initiative will be the creation of a school for girls, building on the success of a boys’ school founded more than 23 years ago. This project extends a proven model of education, dignity, and long-term accompaniment.
